Razzie nominations announced

02 February 2010 [10:33] - TODAY.AZ
As if timed to coincide with Empire's definitive list of the Top 50 Worst Movies Ever (hang on, is that the right way round?), this year's Golden Raspberry Award nominations, the anti-Oscars for all films awful, have just been announced.

2009 is described by the Razzie Foundation as "a banner year for bad movies", and as such, the categories are hotly contested. Leading the nominations however, are Transformers: ROTF and Land of the Lost, with seven nominations each. GI Joe is just behind with six. Awwww, Land of the Lost isn't that bad...

Soft targets? Well, yes, but there are still some sniggers on the list, like the Jonas Brothers' nomination for "worst screen couple". Given the year, there are also three special categories for the worst actor, actress and movie of the last decade.

The results will be announced in glittering style on March 6th, and the full list of nominations is below. Wonder if any of the winners will turn out to be Halle Berry style jolly-good-sports, and show up to accept their trophy?
