Alim Gasimov mesmerizes France stage with Azerbaijani mugham

Azerbaijani Mugham was performed at the Île-de-France music festival.

Famous Azerbaijani Mugham performers People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Alim Gasimov and his daughter Fargana Gasimova represented the country at the event.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to France Elchin Amirbayov and employees of the Embassy, members of Diaspora and students took part at the concert.

Members of the Azerbaijan House in France exhibited books related to the national musical instruments and cuisine.

The Festival d’Ile de France offers each year, in September and October, about thirty concerts in the heritage locations of the Ile de France. Its varied programme offers classical music, from baroque to contemporary creations, world music, jazz and electronic music with frequent connections between these repertories.
