Azeri mugham singer performs in UK

 Azerbaijani People`s Artist, mugham singer Nazakat Teymurova has given a concert in London, UK as part of the WOMAD festival.

Teymurova was accompanied by Aliaga Sadiyev (tar), Elnur Mikayilov (kamancha) and Shirzad Fataliyev (balaban).

UNESCO expert Sanubar Bagirova organized the performance of the Azerbaijani mugham singer.
Teymurova gave interviews to different local magazines and newspapers.

Correspondent of “London Evening Standard” Samon Brouton`s article says:” The most profound vocals came from Azerbaijan`s Nazakat Teymurova”.

Teymurova was invited to London Public Librar, where she presented her CDs to the facility.
WOMAD - World of Music, Arts and Dance the internationally established Festival, which brings together artists from all over the globe. The central aim of the WOMAD festival is to celebrate the world`s many forms of music, arts and dance.
