TEAS announces photographic contest

The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS) is proud to announce the launch of a photographic contest for professional and amateur photographers from across the world. The theme will be the beautiful and historic country of Azerbaijan.

The participants are required to submit electronically up to five J-Pegs at 300dpi at 2–3MB with a caption and a brief description, together with a short (max. 350 words) Artist`s Statement on the techniques behind the photographs or the sources of their inspiration, to [email protected]. All entries should be available at higher resolution for printing purposes.
There is no age limitation and no admission fee for participation in the contest.

The closing date will be 14 September, 17.00 GMT. The photos will be selected by the panel of internationally-recognised experts. The terms and conditions are available from TEAS.

The winners will be awarded an IPad or photographic equipment and be exhibited in La Galleria Pall Mall – London`s prestigious gallery – in November 2012, to which the international media and public will be invited.

The exhibition will then be presented at galleries in Paris, Berlin, Brussels and other European cities during late 2012–early 2013.
