Bakcell becomes ‘Merging Bridges’ exhibition partner

Bakcell, the first mobile operator and leading mobile internet provider of Azerbaijan became the telecommunications partner of "Merging Bridges" exhibition, held from May 15 to June 15, 2012, the company's press release says.

A special Bakcell-dedicated day was organized within the frames of the said exhibition. Aida Mahmudova, the founder of YARAT and Richard Shearer, CEO of Bakcell took part at the event, along with the company's partners and corporate customers.

As an indication of appreciation for support, shown by Bakcell to creative people, a star made of letters forming the word "Bakcell" when put together, created by Rashad Alekberov - one of Azerbaijan's most creative artists was demonstrated during the exhibition. This installation named "Bakcell Star" was presented to the company on Bakcell-dedicated day.

The artist has stated that this artwork is the sign of appreciation for the company's care for customers and young artists, as well as the company's support shown to the development of modern art.

Aida Mahmudova, the founder of YARAT has presented the organization's "Golden partnership" card to Bakcell management.
