Azerbaijan`s cuisine and culture presented in UK

The Azerbaijan-UK Alumni Association has organized an event in front of Buckingham Palace of London as part of a project aimed at popularizing the Azerbaijani cuisine and culture.

The project is supported by the Council of State Support for NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan. The event brought together employees of Azerbaijan`s Embassy to UK, representatives of Azerbaijani and Turkish diaspora organizations, students at higher schools in London.

The event featured performance of Azerbaijani folk dances and music. The event also featured a quiz on Azerbaijan, whose winners received gifts and souvenirs. The project aims to familiarize the foreign visitors, who will visit London for the Olympic Games and jubilee celebrations of the Queen Elizabeth, with the Azerbaijani culture and folklore.
