The international exhibition "Art from the trash " will be officially opened at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on June 1. It will be organized by "Tamiz Shahar" company, the foundation said.
Visitors will familiarize with examples of art made of household garbage. The main storyline of the exhibition was how to wean people away from squandering, the habit of throwing the things belonging to them without hesitating. The participants will show interest in exhibited works of art, made of the simplest and most unwanted material - garbage.
Creating such works of art is being considered as a protest of patterns and rules. Taking advantage of such rubbish as metal, paper, plastic, rubber and a variety of household waste, the masters of this trend create interesting and instructive works. The main objective of the exhibition "Art from the trash" is to inform the public that "The Earth is our home and we must take care of it".
The works made of newspapers, paper, household appliances and goods unfit for use, tires, automobile glass, glassware, metal and other debris by masters from Germany, U.S, Estonia, Romania, Lithuania, Georgia, Belarus and Azerbaijan will be demonstrated. Visitors will like such compositions as "Carpet", "Gold Room", "Soft Furniture", "Motorbike" and others.
The exhibition will be open to the public from June 2-10.
