Yekaterinburg has hosted the 14th International festival of children’s musical creativity called “Earth - our common home.” Azerbaijan has been represented at the festival by the “Aysel” children’s dance ensemble of the Children’s Art School named after Vagif Mustafazadeh.
About 1,000 participants from Azerbaijan, Russia, USA, Austria, Poland, Belarus, Lithuania, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan attend the festival and competition which was held in “choreography,” “Choir,” “Instrumental Music” and “Folk art” categories.
Azerbaijan`s “Aysel” performed the Azerbaijani national dance and was awarded a diploma and special prize in a choreography nomination. Artistic director Irada Aliyeva has been handed a letter of thanks by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Sverdlovsk region.
Aysel ensemble also acted in concert halls in Yekaterinburg and Kamensk-Ural. Performance of Azerbaijani children has been greeted warmly by the audience.
