Sabina Babayeva performs in Amsterdam

Sabina Babayeva made a buzz in Amsterdam on April 21st during her stay in the Netherlands where she performed on a stage at “Eurovision in Concert” event.

It all started on a boat trip where Azerbaijani entry to the Eurovision met with her fellow contestants from Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Malta, France, Latvia, San Marino, Hungary, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Portugal, Moldova, and many others.

Of course, Sabina haven’t missed her chance to invite all Eurovision artists to her hometown Baku in May and promised they all will be welcomed warmly in best of Azerbaijani hospitality.

Sabina became friends with French entry Anggun and Dutch entry Joan Franka. Anggun even called Sabina a great competition for herself.

Also Sabina enjoyed conversations with many European journalists press, who were present at the event. In particular, from lead print and online medias from Germany, France, the Netherlands, Malta, Romania, and Moldova, as well as from TV Channels: NDR Germany, SBS 6, France 3, RTL Romania.

But the most interesting part happened later when Sabina captured the audience of ‘Eurovision in Concert’ with her exclusive live two-language performance of the entry song – ballad When the Music Dies: in English and Sabina’s native – Azerbaijani.

“It was truly unforgettable and great day for me. I’m so exited to be here, to finally meet with everybody! It brought so much joy to me, and fans give me a great power boost! Amsterdam rocks! Can’t wait to see everyone in Baku!”, - said Sabina afterwards.
