Azeri writer`s book presented in Jordan

A presentation ceremony of member of Azerbaijani and Russian Writers Union and also the International Federation of Artists Elvira Arasli`s “Jordan-my love” book has been held in Amman, Jordan.

According to the Azerbaijani embassy in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the book was translated into Arabian with the support of the Jordan`s Culture Ministry and Azerbaijan Friendship Community.

Addressing the event, the Deputy Chairman of Jordanian Senate Humud stressed the importance of the book noting that the book will contribute to cultural cooperation.

Former Culture Minister of Jordan Jeryes Samawi highlighted the Embassy`s activity. He pointed out the edition`s irreplaceable role in boosting relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan.
Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Jordan Elman Arasli expressed his gratitude to Jordan`s Culture Ministry and Azerbaijan Friendship Community which supported the publication of the book. The book received the “2011 Best Book of the Year” of the Russian Writers` Union and “Russian gold pencil” awards.
