Eurovision brings together classical musicians

A competition of young musicians will be held in May under the organization of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the official site of Eurovision said on Saturday.

Semifinal of "Eurovision Young Musicians 2012" will be held on May 5 - 6, Final - May11.

Fourteen countries confirmed their participation in the competition of classical musicians, which will be held in Vienna, Austria. Artists from Germany, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Greece, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Ukraine and Armenia will participate at the event.

"Eurovision Young Musicians" contest was held in 2000 for the first time, then - in 2010. The winner of the contest in 2010 was Slovenia.
