‘Around the world with drinks’ charity event in due Baku - PHOTOS

The Ambassadors’ spouses invited the international Baku community to celebrate their 2nd charity event called “Around the world with drinks” on Feb.29, the  HOMS (Heads of Missions Spouses)  reported.

More than 250 guests were offered to taste various national drinks from all over the world as well to win extraordinary hampers from different countries, all provided by more than 40 embassies residing in Baku. The evening also provided some food specialties and live music.

According to the event’s organizing committee, Nicolette Baldi , Iveta Matulova, Laura Kobia, Egle Kudzmaniene and Corinna Quelle the evening was a big success – the huge variety of drinks was impressive and everybody seemed to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere.

 “We are happy that so many Ambassadors joined the event; this made the evening so special and unique. All proceeds we have raised will benefit our 4 ongoing projects and I can say that we could raise a solid sum this year. We are grateful to the main sponsor of the event AZERCELL who has been our partner for more than 5 years”, Nicolette Baldi, the spouse of the Italian Ambassador said.
