Baku to surprise Eurovision guests

A series of cultural events are scheduled to be held during the Eurovision 2012, executive director of the Azerbaijan Tourism Association Aydin Mammadov told Trend.Mammadov noted that these events will be held along with the Eurovision.

"We plan to conduct various concerts, theater performances and other cultural events. It's difficult to name the singers and shows that will arrive in Baku, but it will be clarified soon. We also plan to organize other entertainment events", Mamedov said.

Mamedov noted that the main purpose of the organization of cultural events is to enhance the recreational atmosphere for people who come to the Eurovision 2012.
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Baku Crystal Hall, which is under construction near the State Flag area.
