Belarus changes Eurovision 2012 representative

BTRC, the Belarusian national broadcaster, has announced on its website that boyband Litesound will be representing Belarus at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Baku. Alena Lanskaya will not fly to Baku. After a meeting today in Minsk it was decided that the Belarusian boyband Litesound will have the honour of representing Belarus at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest.

The decision was reportedly passed by President of Belarus. The representative of Belarus was replaced because of the nonobjective voting in the final where Alena Lanskaya was announced as winner. It became known that both the jury and the audience voted for the Litesound. A meeting was held concerning it and decision was passed to replace the representative.
