Baku to host 'The Kon-Tiki Man' exhibition

Famous Norwegian traveler and scientist Thor Heyerdahl exhibition “The Kon-Tiki Man” will be opened in Baku, the Norwegian embassy reported.

“The Kon-Tiki Man” is a cooperating project between the National Museum of History of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Norwegian Kon-Tiki Museum with assistance from the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Baku. The opening is scheduled for the 1st of March and the exhibition will stay in Baku for three months until the 31st of May. Thor Heyerdahl jr. will attend the opening ceremony and give a speech. The exhibition is sponsored by Statoil.
