Event on Caucasian nations` folklore in due Georgia

An international scientific symposium entitled “The folklore of the Caucasian nations and Linguoculturology” will take place in Georgian capital Tbilisi on April 18-21.

The symposium co-organized by the Institute of Folklore of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the Union of Engineers and Architects of the Turkic World, Turkish Ardahan University, the Caucasus Universities Union, Sukhumi State University and Valeh Hajilar International Scientific-Cultural Research Foundation will be dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Philology, professor, author of 30 books and investigator on Azerbaijan-Georgia relations Valeh Hajilar.

According to the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, the aim of the symposium is boosting and strengthening of scientific cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

The event will discuss problems of Turkology and the Study of Caucasus, the folklore, history and culture of Caucasian nations, linguoculturology: areal linguistics, typology and comparavistics Thesis can be sent to [email protected], [email protected] till February 25.
