Azeri composer presents pieces of music in New-York

Young Azeri composer Turkar Gasimzadeh`s composition “White spaces for heavy snow” (“Espacio blanco para toda la nieve”) has been presented to audience in New-York, US. A concert programme featured new songs by young composers from different musical academies of US as well as by alumni, the press service of Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sport said.

Talented Azerbaijani composer got a master`s degree from the Manhattan School of Music. The composer is pursuing doctorate in the Cincinnati Conservatory. Turkar Gasmizadeh`s compositions have been honoured with prizes in different competitions held in US, Italy, Sweden, Latvia and Austria.
