First solemn ceremony of the Eurovision 2012 song contest will take place in Buta Palace on Wednesday. In this regard first dress rehearsal was held in Buta Palace on Jan. 24, the working group of the contest said.
Representatives of the European Broadcasting Union (ÅÂÑ), foreign guests, officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps, cultural figures and art workers as well as other officials of the contest will attend the ceremony.
Executive Producer of Eurovision Jon Ola Sand, Event Supervisor of the Contest Sietse Bakker and contest's other officials have arrived in Baku to attend this event.
Handing over of a symbolic key of the Eurovision contest, semi-final allocation draw, presentation of the contest's logo and symbol will be broadcast live by the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of Azerbaijan, the official website of the contest eurovision.tv as well as TV channels of some countries members of the European Broadcasting Union.
Representatives of the public broadcasting companies of Georgia, Finland, Germany, Serbia, Malta, Moldova, Estonia, Belarus as well as reporters of the Euronews TV channel have arrived in Azerbaijan to cover the ceremony.
In connection with this event special light, sound and other technical equipment has been delivered from Germany and Turkey.
German company Brainpool, production partner of the Eurovision 2012 song contest and Public television, will produce the program which the whole Europe will watch. 3D Mapping show will be demonstrated at this event. A 270-degree view will give special effect to the event. It is this show that will use such kind of equipment in Azerbaijan. This gives cause to say that the show and translation themselves will be very interesting.
