Azerbaijani awarded Friendship medal of Uzbekistan

Representative of Azerbaijani Culture Center in Sirdarya province of Uzbekistan Ali Nasirli has been awarded a medal of Friendship. Nasirli received his award in an event marking the 20th anniversary of the Uzbek International Cultural Center, which groups all national culture centers in the country.

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan, parliamentarians and representatives of the diplomatic corps. State advisor H. Sultonov read out Uzbek President Islam Karimov`s congratulatory message to the participants.

Speakers briefed the attendees on the activity of the Cultural Center. Speaking at the event, Nasirli thanked the Uzbek President for his contributions to establishing peace and stability among the nations living in Uzbekistan.
