“Talks On Art” project continued in Baku

An event dedicated to the 180th anniversary of prominent Russian painter Ivan Shishkin as part of the project “Talks On Art” was held in the Russian Information and Cultural Centre here. According to the press service of the Russian Information and Cultural Centre, the event was attended by schoolchildren, students and others.

Associate professor of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Art Afat Aslanova delivered a lecture on life and creative activity of Ivan Shishkin. She underlined that the painter`s works are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the State Russian Museum in St Petersburg and in some provincial museums. Event participants virtually toured the halls demonstrating Shishkin`s art works.
