Book about music published in Baku

“Risale (Letters) on music” book translated by Rauf Sheykhzamanlı - the employee of the Institute of Manuscripts named after M. Fuzuli, was published at “Nurlan” publishing house.

The book includes translation of medieval manuscripts dedicated to music dedicated. The first of these works is unknown author’s “Risaleyi-music”, another is Amir Khan Kovkabi Gurci’s “Risale der music”. Both works written in Persian, gives valuable information on the art of mugam. The current edition is intended for experts, and also for all music lovers.
