Azerbaijani Tax Ministry stresses need to use e-document system

Documents will be sent in e-form to taxpayers who have special e-boxes, the Azerbaijani Tax Ministry said. The ministry has stressed the need for taxpayers to check their mail.

According to the information, the ministry has given taxpayers the opportunity to appeal to tax bodies via the sub-system (a part of the automated tax information system) since March 2010. Individual e-boxes have been created for each user in the automated system.

Correspondent will be conducted with taxpayers who have the indicated e-boxes only in the electronic format, except in cases when the tax authorities require paper documents.
