Azerbaijan to establish independent regulatory agency in energy field

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy announced a tender for a feasibility study for establishing an independent regulatory agency in the field of energy, the ministry said.

The tender was announced within the program for reforms in the energy sector. The cost of participation in tender is 200 manat. It is necessary to submit necessary documents except for tender proposals and bank guarantee to the ministry by March 7, 2011.

The tender will be completed on March 17, 2011.
