Chairman of "Belneftkhim" company: "We will receive Azeri Light through pipe"

Belarus plans since March 2011 to receive the Azerbaijani oil. It was stated on December 21 in Minsk by the vice-president of “Belneftkhim" company Bronislav Siviy at the expanded session of two permanent commissions of the House of Representatives and Republic Council.

"Since March 2011 we shall receive Azerbaijani oil," Bronislav Siviy said. "We will receive the Azeri Light through the pipe".

He noted that Belarus has worked out the variant of delivery of the Venezuelan oil as alternative. "On diversification we will continue this work, - the vice-president told. But it is alternative".

The major deliveries of oil will be received from Russia. Bronislav Siviy explained that after cancellation by Russia of duties on oil for Belarus, oil refining of these raw materials for Belarus will be favorable. As to the Azerbaijani oil, this variant also is favorable to Belarus.
