Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz will hold a meeting with energy ministers of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in Istanbul on Wednesday. Yildiz told reporters following his meeting with Spanish Ambassador in Ankara Joan Clos Matheu.
Yildiz said, "we will discuss issues regarded with transportation of oil and natural gas from the Eastern countries to the consumers in the Western countries."
Matheu, who was appointed as executive director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT), bid farewell to Yildiz.
Following the meeting, Yildiz told reporters, "since Matheu, earlier, served as energy minister of Spain, we met frequently to exchange views."
