Azerbaijan Central Bank chairman meets FATF delegation

Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov has met with a delegation of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) of Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The meeting discussed Azerbaijan`s achievements in relation to the combat against money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as preparation of proposals for removal of Azerbaijan from the FATF list.

The FATF delegation hailed Azerbaijan`s successes in the field, country`s cooperation with the organization.

Rustamov, in turn, praised bilateral relations and FATF`s cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Attending the meeting were Executive secretary of the FATF Kevin Vandergrift, political adviser to the Agency for financial crimes and terrorist financing under the U.S financial department Christopher Burdick, Executive Secretary to MONEYVAL John Ringguth.
