Over a total of 200 Japanese and Azerbaijani officials and businessmen have come together in Tokyo for a joint investment forum.

Co-organized by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economic Development and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), the event took place on the sidelines of the 6th meeting of a joint state commission on economic cooperation.
The forum was aimed at exploring prospects for boosting the bilateral cooperation in the fields of agriculture, banking, tourism, trade, food industry, construction, industry and transport.
Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov and Executive Vice President of ITOCHU Corporation Akira Yokota delivered remarks at the forum. AZPROMO President Adil Mammadov highlighted Azerbaijan's economic, agricultural, energy and tourism potential.
