Azerbaijan's Deputy Transport Minister to attend meeting in Tbilisi

Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Transport Musa Panahov will attend a coordinating meeting on prospects of improving transport infrastructure in the South Caucasus kicking off Wednesday in Tbilisi.

The event will bring together representatives of ministries of transport and economy, as well as officials of road administrations and railway organizations of Southern Caucasian countries. The meeting is expected to be chaired by World Bank director for Sustainable Development department Peter Thomson and regional director for Southern Caucasus Asa Alam. The event will discuss organizing and financing road exploitation and ensuring quality in road construction.
