Gazprom official: Favorable conditions created for business development in Azerbaijan

"Such great conditions have been created in Azerbaijan for business development that it would be nice for each investor to start business here. If we have good projects, we will be happy to arrive in Azerbaijan", Gazprom investholding Ltd director general Alisher Usmanov said in Baku.

Today, Usmanov told media about estimation of the global economy similar with global rating agencies.

"I appreciate it as all the world news agencies. The growth in such sectors as metallurgy, always entails improving the welfare of people," Usmanov said.

Usmanov is also the President of the International Fencing Federation. Usmanov's trip to Azerbaijan is connected with the World Fencing Championship, which will be held in Baku April 2-10 among teenagers and young people, including 1,565 sportsmen from 87 countries.
