Azerbaijani Ministry for Emergency Situations to provide people hit by torrential rains with accommodation by late 2010

The Azerbaijani Ministry for Emergency Situations is planning to complete construction of houses for families who have lost their homes last year as a result of torrential rains by late 2010, Minister for Emegency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov said.

"Houses will be built in Guba, Khachmaz, Gusar, Hajigabul, Salyan, Shirvan, and other parts of Azerbaijan", Minister said.

The Ministry has also provided people hit by the natural disaster with building materials worth 400,000 manat.

"Most of these houses have been already built. All remaining victims will be provided with accommodation within the next few months," the Minister added.
