The amount of Azeri light oil processed at Ukraine's Kremenchuk oil refinery plant amounted to 200,000 tons in October, Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan Boris Klimchuk said at a press conference today.

"Although no official statistics is provided for November, but the volume is a little more than 200,000 tons. The same volume is predicted for December," Klimchuk said.

According to Klimchuk, the Ukrainian State Statistics Committee for the first time over the past 18 years fixed a positive balance in favor of Azerbaijan at $16 million.

Export to Azerbaijan amounted to $57.5 million, and Ukraine has imported products worth more than $73 million.

The Ambassador forecasts the goods turnover to attain $800 million current year.

"If we continue buying Azeri oil, it can exceed one milliard dollars," Klimchuk said.
