President Aliyev attends opening of new intersections

President Ilham Aliyev attend the opening of different intersections constructed in "20 January" circle in the crossroad of Tbilisi avenue and Hasan Zardabi street in the capital Baku.

Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov informed the head of state on the newly-constructed intersections. The intersection constructed by "Azerkorpu" is 1,12 sq.m in length. The constriction cost 21,1 million AZM.

The road tunnel in Tbilisi avenue is 332 meters in length, 30m in width. The width of road strip is 30 meters, the height is 5,5m, demarcation strip is 3 m. The total cost of bridge and tunnel is 31,5 million AZM.

The President participated in the corner stone laying ceremony of Interior Ministry's Central Republic Hospital named after General Lieutenant Arif Heydarov.

The Interior Minister informed the President of the new building of Central Republic Hospital, APA reports.

The new building will be equipped with the up-to-date medical facilities, with possibilities of treating and diagnosing different diseases.

The intersections constructed in the crossroads of A. Salamzada Street and Tbilisi avenue, Ziya Bunyadov and Ataturk avenues have already been opened. The Transport Ministry plans to open 5 more intersections and 11 tunnels by the end of the year.
