Legal and Individual persons fined AZN 71427, 83 for damages to environment

Claims were raised on 982 cases cost AZN 1194009, 7 and AZN 128907, 56 was paid. 2982 cases were launched cost AZN 405875, 47 and AZN 143359, 79 of this was paid.

Report says that the institutions that damaged the environment mostly are these:

"Binegedineft" OGPU-AZN 108678
"Surakhanineft" OGPU-58834
"Bibi-Heybet" OGPU-AZN 13963
"Heydar Aliyev Oil Processing plant" AZN 11940
"Garasu" Operation Company AZN 96162

The Ministry has appealed to courts against governmental and non-governmental institutions on damage to environment, APA reports.

Some of the appeals have been considered and decisions have been passed about paying the fines.

4375 act and protocols were drawn and 917 requisitions were given to companies, departments and institutions because of irregularities.

Documents on 108 cases have been presented to the law enforcement bodies and 376 cases have been presented to courts because of refusing pay the fine.
