Mahmud Kerimov: "Budget-allocated money only enough for science to survive"

"In Azerbaijan Science spending makes up 0.7% of the GDP. As a result, the science has no influence on economy," Azerbaijan national Academy of Sceice President Mahmud Kerimov said.

He said this money is only enough for the science not to die, APA reports.

"Azerbaijani science spending per scientist is three times less than Russia and two times than Ukraine," he said.
