Tahir Aliyev: "Sometimes BakGas's employees allow gas robbery themselves"

As of October 1, BakGas has provided 320 000 customers with gas meters, Baku Main Gas Department chief Tahir Aliyev told a press conference.

Tahir Aliyev said there is it is still problematic to install gas meters in the houses and admitted that BakGas's employees are to blame for gas robbery.

"Customers sometimes meddle with gas meters. 550 customers did so in the past period."

He said individual customers owe AZN 120mn to BakGas in Baku and gas supply to Surakhani, Azizbayov and Sabunchu districts have been cut off.

Gas supply was only restored to Balakhani settlement, APA reports.
