Azerbaijan Export & Investment Fund got budget financing

Azerbaijan Export & Investment Fund (Azpromo) received financing from State Budget. Azpromo president Emil Mejidov said the Fund was transferred AZN172,000 from State Budget.

"The finances were received as governmental share in the export support project realized jointly with United National Development Programme. Total project cost is $350,000 and a greater portion of finances is allocated by the government and the remaining by UNDP and other sources,” Mejidov said. One of the sources are the Fund trustees' fees.

"Currently 41 out of the 74 trustees pay fees," Mejidov said. Fee amounts 2,500 manats a year.
