New technical adviser to Thermo-Power station reconstruction Project

The consortium of German 'Fichtner' and Japanese 'Tepsco' have been selected as a technical adviser to the project of reconstruction of the Azerbaijan thermo-power station in Mingachevir, press-service of the Joint Stock Company Azerenergy said.

The choice of the tender commission has been approved by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which is the creditor of the project. The Consortium will and exercise control over the works, organize a tender to select a general contractor and render consulting services for the project and. All the preparatory works are expected to end by the end of 2006.
