Oil Policy and Strategy of Azerbaijan was discussed in Berlin

The conference was organized by the scientific-research group of the Berlin University under the support of the Science and Politics Foundation attached to the Institute of international politics and security of Germany, Trend reports, citing the AzerTAg new agency.

Officials from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Russia, Rumania, Moldova, Greece and Poland, scholars, politicians, businessmen took part in the event. Norwegian specialists informed the conference participants in detail of the Norway's gas and oil industry development in the North Sea area, on ensuring national interests.

The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany Perviz Shahbazov made a report on the Azerbaijan energy policy significance, on export routes, oil and gas transit efficiency, the role of the oil sector in revival of the Azerbaijan economy.
