"Respublika" Bank increased its aggregate capital by 2.2 times in 2005

Assets of the "Respublika" Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (JSCB) increased by 97.5% during the past year and totaled AZM 291.4 billion (AZN 58.3 million) by January 1, 2006.

As APA reports, volume of the credit portfolio of the Bank increased by 73.9% and formed AZM 166.2 billion (AZN 33.2 million) by the beginning of the current year.

At the same time, deposits of clients amounted to AZM 111.9 billion (AZN 22.4 million) and it exceeds the analogous figure of the previous year by 83%. Volume of fixed-date savings attracted from population totaled AZM 65 billion (AZN 13 million) in the reporting year and it is 2.5 times growth.

It should be noted that as of the beginning of 2006, the aggregate capital of "Respublika" JSCB increased by 2.2 times and reached AZM 51.6 billion (AZN 10.3 million) by the beginning of 2006.

According to the results of the year, incomes of the Bank amounted to AZM 38.1 billion (AZN 7.6 million), expenses to AZM 26.7 billion (AZN 5.3 million), and balance sheet profit to AZM 11.4 billion (AZN 2.3 million).
