Volume of credits granted by finance-credit organizations increased by 46.6%

Total volume of credits granted by finance-credit organizations operating in Azerbaijan formed AZN 1358.5 million as of December 1, 2005 and this exceeds the previous year figure by 46.6%.

As APA reports refering to the State Statistical Committee, short-term and long-term credits constitute 63,8% and 36.2% of it, respectively. 50.3% of credit investment was implemented by state credit organizations, 46.7% by private credit organizations and 3% by non-bank credit organizations.

It should be noted that the amount of overdue credits totaled AZN 68.9 million or 5.1% of overall credit investment.
