Taxes Ministry strengthens operative tax control

The Taxes Ministry revealed violations at 17,805 objects belonging to 17,782 taxpayers within the measures taken on operative tax control in 2005.

Over this period the it drew up 18,770 reports and acts, imposed administrative fines for 590,000 AZN (2,949,9m AZM), finance fines - 95,100 AZN (475,4m AZM), Trend reports.

In 2005 the Ministry revealed 214,400 goods unlabeled or labeled with forged stamps for 54,300 AZN (271.7m AZM) at 544 objects belonging to 570 taxpayers. 20,300 AZN (101.6m AZM) was transferred to the public budget from the sale of confiscated goods.

Besides, as a result of the measures the Ministry revealed violation of payment rules at 5,652 objects, use of foreign currency at payment - 1,583 objects.

Control over conclusion of labor contracts between employers and natural entities was strengthened in 2005. The Ministry examined 3,774 taxpayers in this regard and revealed violations at 2, 665 objects.
