Azerbaijani businessmen get preferential loans to develop livestock, vegetable-growing

Azerbaijan’s National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support has provided businessmen with preferential loans worth 104 million manats since early 2017, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy said in a message on November 16.

According to the message, entrepreneurs received preferential loans worth 1.9 million manats as part of a business forum held in Janali village of the Gazakh district Nov. 16. The funds will be used to develop livestock, vegetable-growing, hotel construction, and other spheres.

So far, businessmen from Ganja and Gazakh districts have obtained preferential loans worth 237.2 million manats.

Azerbaijan’s National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support plans to allocate 150 million manats in 2017.

The National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support was established in 1992.
