Capitalization of Azerbaijani banks reaches 2.3B AZN

Capitalization of Azerbaijan’s banking sector amounted to about 2.3 billion manats according to the results of November 2016, said the banking sector’s outlook presented by Azerbaijan’s Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA).

In late October 2016, this figure was 2.58 billion manats, in late September – 1.685 billion manats, according to the report.

Assets of the banking sector amounted to about 31.87 billion manats in late November 2016, as compared to 31.19 billion manats in late October and almost 31.07 billion manats – in late September.

In late November 2016, loan portfolio of banks reached 15.77 billion manats, while this figure was 15.3 billion and 16.15 billion manats, respectively, in October and September 2016.
