Azerbaijan looks to increase tax revenues in 2017 [PHOTO]

Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes is working to reach the forecast on tax revenues to the state budget in 2017, Deputy Taxes Minister Sahib Alakbarov said on December 29.

The forecast is 7.51 billion manats, which is 0.5 billion manats more than the forecast for 2016, he said.

Azerbaijani commercial banks’ financial sanction liabilities before the country’s state budget amounted to 4.8 million manats on Dec. 1, 2016, Head of the Main Department on Analysis and Control over Tax Risks of Taxes Ministry Natig Shirinov told reporters in Baku Dec. 29.

He said that at the same time the interest payable of Azerbaijan’s commercial banks is 2.2 million manats.
