Azerbaijan, Bulgaria discuss cooperation in tourism field

Azerbaijani Ambassador in Bulgaria Emil Karimov has met Minister of Tourism of Bulgaria Nikolina Angelkova.

They discussed the issues related to the document signed as part of the visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Bulgaria on March 3-5 entitled “Protocol on enhancement of cooperation in the field of tourism between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria”

Nikolina Angelkova highlighted the achievements of Azerbaijan gained over the last years, adding tourism sphere was one of the priorities of Bulgaria.

She also stressed the importance of 3rd World Intercultural Dialogue Forum to be held in Baku on May 18-19. The Minister also touched upon Azerbaijan`s achievements in the intercultural dialogue and multiculturalism field.

Emil Karimov said Azerbaijan was interested in cooperation with Bulgaria in the field of energy, as well as tourism sphere, adding there were great opportunities for developing cooperation in the field of tourism.
