Azerbaijan, Czech Republic discuss prospects for cooperation

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov has met a delegation led by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jan Mladek in Baku.

The Azerbaijani Minister praised political and economic relations between the two countries and said there were greater opportunities for the development of these relations, as well as stressed its necessity.

Samir Sharifov briefed on the current socio-economic situation and achievements in Azerbaijan.

In his turn, the Czech Minister noted that his country attaches great importance to developing relations with Azerbaijan and shared his views on prospects for cooperation in various fields.

The sides had comprehensive exchange of views on expansion of the relations in the economic, energy, reconstruction of railway transport, mutual investment, trade, development of small and medium-sized enterprises and agricultural fields.
