Azerbaijan spends $4 billion to create 20 enterprises

Around $4 billion was invested in the creation of large enterprises in Azerbaijan in the past three to four years. This was said by the Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev on Tuesday at the first meeting of the National Action Group to implement the concept of 'Azerbaijan 2020: Vision of the future'.

We are talking about 20 of the largest enterprises established in recent years, the minister said. According to him, nearly half the non-oil export fell to agricultural products.

"The industrial production of poultry meat has increased 4.6 times in the past 10 years. As a result of dairy construction, the production capacity in milk processing has doubled and this will increase Azerbaijan's exports is in this sphere in the coming years," Mustafayev said.

According to him, in total, the investments in the country's economy exceeded $132 billion in the past 10 years.
