The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has launched the electronic statistics and analytical reporting system, by fully electronizing their databases, CBA deputy chairman Khagani Abdullayev said at a press conference on Friday.
This system allows storing all statistics data in a single database and to automatically process them and quickly disseminate the information. The system created for more than two and a half years, has extensive analytical and mathematical-statistics data processing capabilities.
"Earlier, the reports and data delivered to the Central Bank from the banks and other sources, the CBA staff processed them, but now the work will be automated," he added. "Moreover, the launch of the system will greatly simplify the work on the data exchange with other state agencies. This is important in the context of creating "e-government" in Azerbaijan. The central banks of other countries show interest in our system."
The system is the product of SINAM local company. The experience of central banks of Switzerland, Turkey, Italy, the Czech Republic was used there.
