AZPROMO: Today Azerbaijani products sold in USA, Australia, New Zeeland and Europe

A significant growth is observed both in export potential, as well as in the number of foreign partners in Azerbaijan, President of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Fund (AZPROMO) Rufat Mammadov said in his speech at presentation of the book titled "Guide for exporters".

According to him, the creation of new technological infrastructure in the country, the production meeting the required standards, contributed to the growth of export.

Azerbaijan's foreign commodity turnover increased by 8.8 times, export - by 11 times, and non-oil export - by 6.5 times, in last ten years.

If the number of market partners of the republic amounted to 80 countries ten years ago, this figure has increased to 155 today.

Today the Azerbaijani products are sold in USA, Australia, New Zeeland and in many European countries.

"Traditionally, we annually conduct trainings for exporters. The conduction of 2-3 trainings is expected till the end of the year, with the participation of foreign experts," Mammadov noted.
