Chemical production ups in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan has increased chemical production 0.6% and AZN 66.8 mln-products were produced in January-March, 2013.

The State Statistical Committee says iodine production rose by 39% and made 61.3 tons, aluminum sulfate-18,900 tons (65.6% growth), isopropyl alcohol-5,400 tons (4.9% growth).

At the same time, decline is recorded in polypropylene production by 26.5%, at the level of 6,600 tons. Polyethylene production has dropped by 12.2% to 22,400 tonnes. Paints production has dropped by 13.6% to 732.3 tonnes.
